We focus 100% of our resources on delivering the most current and diverse skincare education programs at Acaydia. We don’t get distracted with anything else. We just teach skin.
While focused on the latest treatment approaches in both the medical and alternative skincare industry, we incorporate a broad spectrum approach that guides students to engage and speak confidently to all aspects of the industry. To bring this philosophy to life, our curriculum weighs heavily on the classroom experience and provides opportunities to analyze information, debate treatment approaches and take this experience to a practical setting on the clinic floor. Based on understanding that there are multiple ways to approach results-driven treatments, we believe this foundation is a crucial platform as students envision post-graduate opportunities.
A study conducted by Spa Finder reveals that spa owners listed ‘obtaining, retaining and managing a motivated and quality staff’ as the number one issue they face. Acaydia believes a large part of this issue stems form a disconnect between the goals of educational institutions - to simply provide entry level training - and the realities of what it takes to succeed upon graduation.
Our philosophy incorporates training based on the ‘complete practitioner’ and includes courses on business development, retail sales, organizational skills, client retention and industry specific professionalism standards.
The Acaydia experience is designed to promote a deeper understanding of industry concepts and facilitate cross-disciplinary learning in order to set the foundation for long-term success.
